Keeping in mind that this is book 1 of a series and Thesfar still has a lot *he* doesn't know... yet!

Was the reading level approrpriate for 8-12 year olds? *Yes.The reading level is too difficult for that age.The reading level is too simple for that age.

How does Orinda Rising compare to similar stories you have read? *

How did you feel about the included illustrations? *

The plan is for every chapter to have at least 1 illustration. The on-page formatting of the illustrations was not quite what I was hoping for in the Beta Version. Getting full page illustrations to run to the edge of the page and improving the flow of text around the smaller illustrations will be focal points for the final version.
